Planty of people have Dynamiques on 17s with a 60mm drop on here - no problems at all even with a car full of people. A lot of people go for PI springs (I have too).
Mike.
Ibiza slitter does look nice, but if it was to be out of them 2 pics, then Id go for the first one - it looks to fit better, the other one sticks out too far IMO.
Mines on 60mm springs, original dampers.
You can just get the springs, many people on here have. The ride can feel a little harsh over larger bumps/potholes, but you will notice less body roll and a slight handling advantage.
Uprating the dampers would give you better ride quality and...
I have a Mk2 Ph2, but Im sure its the same as a Ph1. Left of the dash, under the glove box - there is a large gromet for the bonnet-release cable, you can easily drill an extra hole in it.
This is mine:

My mate had auto wipers, and auto lights (52 plate Dynamique), the wipers come on when the windscreen gets wet. You can disable them somehow - it says in your manual (this may have been done on your car).
I have 16 inch wheels on -60mm springs, have had a fully loaded car with no rubbing and...
I built my own box, pretty easy once you have worked out the size you need.
As for the terminal, I got mine from http://www.cybermarket.co.uk/ishop/923/shopscr3002.htmlCybermarket.co.uk.
Good company, was told on ordering to expect tyres within a week, actually got them within 3 days. Also a lot cheaper (£20 per tyre!!!) than my local garages.
16 month old 1.2 8v, happy with the reliability, and build quality - everything apart from the engine which is proper weedy. 2 litres of 172 is what Im wanting next.
Ive got the same shape Clio, 16inch 172 alloys, -60mm PI springs, 5mm spacers on the back.
I have had 5 people in the car with a boot full of luggage, it was proper on its arse - the tyres were up inside the rear arches and I still had no rubbing.
When the car is that loaded the ride is a...
My car -60mm, still looks fairly standard - I dont think 30mm would be enough for you to notice much difference.

Ive got a Mk2 clio (ph2 though - but basically the same car) 16" wheels, lowered on 60mm springs only. I have had 5(fat) people in the car many times and havent had any rubbing at all.
Replacing only the springs will shorten the life of your original shocks. IIRC there are people on here who...

Daily Star today ran an article on Britains worst car dealers - aftersales service etc.
Renault was placed 30th out of 34, better than only Fiat (31); Peugeot (32); Daewoo (33); and Alpha Romeo (34).
This seems to match up with a lot of stories I have read on here, Im just glad my car hasnt...
jon_r - Its a 1.2 8v, over 100mph is only achievable if I drove off a cliff ;).
y0z2a, 195/45/16 (172 wheels) - Toyos on at the mo, only problem is that I have to get this police ticket stamped and back to the station for next Saturday.
Do you think it would be safer if I put the spare on -...
My recent bus-dodging resulted in me kerbing my 3 month old tyre.
Police pulled me, he gave me a form to get stamped by a tyre dealer to say my tyre is safe.
Before some dodgy geezer in a tyre dealer tries to sell me tyres I dont need could you give me your opinions - is there any way to...
