Just to let you all know that i had my clio in at powerstation over the last few days to have a few changes made to the coilover settings.
As im sure your aware there are two different choices of spring rates and i have, as most have the heavier spring weights (450lb front, 400lb rear)
I have...
Id have it done anyway to be sure. Always do this when changing ANY suspension parts as you are replacing a WORN part with something brand new that isnt warn :)
Hes completely correct you know. Very complicated subject are power caps. Get a decent amp and you wont need one. Dimming lights? Buy an aftermarket xenon kit. Far better idea :)
The further you go above 6000k the less light you will get. Id go for 6000k. I have them on my car and they are great. 4300k are what they use on factory lights on most production cars.
Yes 888's are worth the extra money all day long. Put simply, they are TRACK tyres and T1'Rs are ROAD tyres. I ran them all last year and are fantastic on track and on road :) go for it.
next to nothing i think youll find!! Yes the socks are crap and i will continue to admit that but the gains you get even with the socks are massive and completely change the drive of the car.
sorry got bored after first sentence. You once told me on the phone that bodies will never work properly on an everyday road car due to lots of things including intake temp and the rad being right in front of them. You also said the car would not start properly and should only go for bodies with...
My thoughts exactly?!?! Ok you cant run the sausage type filter and have to have those horrible socks which i will be soon getting rid of but the car as it is, is fine. It works. End of. Someone please explain (ben r)
Nothing wrong with them in the doors tbh. Close to mid as possible. Ive got them there in my car and have got an excellent sound stage. Depends how they are fitted and to make sure they are angled up and slightly towards you.
On standard dampers u cant adjust Camber so i would just get tracking done. The camber will change slightly due to lowering it anyway but in a good way if that makes sense :)
And it will want a full engine rebuild not long after you buy a P1 cos they are so weak and prone to letting go. 3k minimum for a standard ish rebuild. Thats what put me off one.
Yeah they are far more fun to drive than a standard one. Bit crap with these greasy roads as i dont get traction in second which can become tedious!! More reliable than a turbo conversion too i would of said!
Tbh mate, 0-60 and 0-100 are irrelevant. 30-70 and 40-120 are far more relevant but I honestly have no idea! Ill get some videos up together. With bodies it completely changes the car in everyway ( low end, top end and midrange. Theres no waiting for that 5k kick which always takes way too long...
