a z4 with the 335 engine in it will be fairly brisk. If youve been in a 335 then youll know wot i mean lol. Itll be quicker than the current Z4M but it wont be a proper M car :(
Ive found that forge motorsport in glos make them and curtis from powerstation is getting me a set to look at and try and if all well with them should beable to get a real good deal on a set if anyones interested.

if hes got the the X300 then the usb wont work ipod anyway. That is just a usb for a memory stick etc. U would need the fullspeed lead for that unit. If he has any of the latest ipods then they have 5 volt charging. The usb lead on the X200 and X100 will still charge all the ipods as it is usb...
The steering control adaptor is very dependant on what clio it is and whether the original unit says either tuner list on the front or update list! Some clio steering controls use normal multiple voltage switching wires but some use canbus data. Usually 2005 on cars need the can bus interface...
yes the lead charges the ipod. On the x100 which is the one shown above it comes with an ipod lead in usb format. this plugs and screws into the back of the unit and can then be run to say the glovebox where the ipod can then be plugged in and forgotten about as the unit then overides the ipod...
The black cable on the pioneer just needs connecting to earth (cars body or use the original renault wire in the original loom. There doesnt need to be anything in the other holes as a headunit only needs permanent, ignition and earth to work :)
