    good deal for a 360 ?

hmv are doing a 360 premium with an extra official wireless controller, pgr3, just cause, ninety nine nights, and table tennis, all for £350. Was going to add saints row on top of this to bring it to almost £400. anyone know of any better deals around?

    Problems playing games

if you don't wanna buy new memory then buy a whole new computer. 256mb ram and a laptop with a poor graphics card isn't gonna do u any favours.

    newsgroups and new isp

tbh, an actual cancellation would be more trouble than it's worth cos they would cease the line, then bt would need to reprovide, so you are looking at around 10 days downtime with no broadband, possibly more.

    newsgroups and new isp

errrr, are you on crack? newsgroups are consistently faster than torrents unless you can max out your connection every single time with torrents. and yes pipex manage torrents too, but you can encrypt torrents.

    newsgroups and new isp

nope, not unless it's within the first 7 days.

    newsgroups and new isp

nope, they use deep packet inspection, so unless you run through a vpn or ssh tunnel you are pretty fcuked. they shape on the erx's (they use juniper's if they use the same as we have where i work, and they have got some really advanced shaping/management software). they can also throttle on...

    newsgroups and new isp

i work for a pipex owned company, and yes pipex throttle nntp connections. try switching to port 80 if you are currently using port 119.

    dial up help pls plsssssss

no, sadly it's not quite that simple. was there a fault that caused them to cease the line in the first place?

    dial up help pls plsssssss

    Artic Freezer Pro 7 Results

54 ain't really that hot, it won't start thermal throttling till around 80 degrees. i run ddr2 533mhz memory at the moment, and a new psu, although it's a cheap one so that could be causing my computer to turn off when things get too much. at 3.8ghz it's stable all day long, doesn't even crash...

    Artic Freezer Pro 7 Results

arse, 3.9ghz is a no go. 3.8ghz is nice and stable though. will keep it like this till i can get some new memory and a decent psu. i think my psu is the limiting factor at the moment, along with my 533mhz memory.

    Internet tonight

lol, i love threads like these. this is like asking somebody in america if their kettle stopped working because yours did in england. fair enough if your local exchange has an issue, or your isp has an issue, and somebody else is on the same isp or same exchange, but just asking somebody if...
