they will have caps/fup, you may just not know about it.
i have done 80gb in the past 12 days, if i wasn't with the isp i work for then i would have got bum raped by whoever i was with.
only if you have non standard tail lights.
i hear neons and sunstrips have a negative effect on connection speed too.
the isp's throttle you as punishment, think of them as the taste police.
arghhhhh, port 119 = newsgroups = throttled to around 120k.
switched to port 80, but the connection is spiking like mad and speeds are all over the place.
co-incidentally we have a meeting tomorrow which i assume they will mention this in.
thanks a lot pipex, i'm really glad you took us over...

i run a 3.4ghz intel dual core with 1gb of DDR2, and a seagate 320gb 7200rpm sata2 drive with 16mb cache. might go for an extra gig of memory at the same time.
sadly i don't as i just spunked £564 on the dell 24" tft that i got.
will probably just get the single gx2 then. am thinking of this one...

i'm pretty lucky as i work for an isp so i get unlimited newsgroup access, and i just pay £20 a year for newsleecher supersearch and i have no restrictions on bandwidth for my actual internet connection either.
once u get into newsgroups you will probably get arse raped by your ISP's fair...
