Well thats it, Dan (the guy in the saxo) did a 'winter day' at cadwell in november, it cost him £150, I payed £120 for TWO days and nothing to hit. IMO thats a DEAL!! Hence the amount of people there over the weekend.

why does taking the top caf off make a difference, aren't you going to suck in hot air from the around the engine?

^^^ agreed pal, my first trackday and loved it. Don't see what the problem is really, nobody coming the other way, no kids running out, nobody parked around blind corners, just a track to rag your car around, oh and nothing to hit like barriers or buildings or tyres. Definately doing it...

cool but rather annoying! Dan's saxo is rapid, had different head, pistons, stand alone ecu, strpped out, r888's and an LSD. Oh and he can drive a bit.

I see your point pal but this weekend I did a track day with my mate Dan who has a stripped saxo, with an LSD. I couldn't hang on to the back of him, he could get the power down so early in the corner and with no worries at all. I'm not trying to be funny but I guess its not a mod done to...

Yes otherwise I wouldnt be asking. My mate did it to his saxo track car and it is awsome, the power he can get down on the exit of a corner is amazing, no spinning of the inside wheel, just power down.
