"Had a race with a Mitsubishi 3000GT a while back and he could shake me off his rear bumper"
This gives the impression you were within 2 car lengths...at highway speeds, that is too close...you should be travelling at least 2 seconds behind for it to be a safe braking distance.

IMHO, the whole kit looks pretty sh*te to me....its that whole Jap Crap influence!
Why not speak to Carisma about the exhaust system. Failing that, Powerflow will make you any custom exhaust you like...

Greeper - well said that man!!
viceroy - I was a safe distance off his read bumper....I too cant stand tailgaters, so he had plenty of time/space to brake if he had needed it.
Try not to jump to conclusions!

Had a race with a Mitsubishi 3000GT a while back and he could shake me off his rear bumper He didnt take it too well either, giving me the finger as he turned off.....charming! Bet he wasnt best pleased at his Jap crap being pursued by a humble hot hatch
The engine on mine felt very tight around 1500 miles but, after two track days and an oil change it it soooooo much better and improving all the time! Chavyboy - get it on the track!!

Phoned DT and the Pipercross panel filter is £32. Money well spent if the filter then stays cleaner for longer.
Then you can put the £100 odd you save on NOT buying a cone filter towards a decent exhaust
wallisj - any idea when these new AVO springs will be available?
Ive got 215/40x16 F1s on my other car and they come with rim bar protectors, as do the 205/40x17s I think....
*phew* Glad I read this post as I am about to order some AVO springs from the infamous John Harris @ Demon Tweeks! I was thinking of getting 17s, but might not bother after Jamies bad luck....
Still, the AVOs seem to lower the car nicely and, IMHO, Id prefer to run them over the Apex option...
