    Godspeed Brakes

Yup, Laguna front brakes fit on, as they are used on the latest Clio Cup cars. I had a bad experience with Godspeed a long time ago - Ian Godney took months to deliver some brakes and then the discs warped in 1000 miles. A number of members of the RSOC have had similar delivery problems with...

    AVO lowering springs.

HillPower use AVO springs, and ak_uk and Jamie (cant remember his ID) both have them fitted (via HillPower) on their 172 Mk2s. Very good I hear!

Jeremy, I noticed that youve posted a couple of times on here with regard to the Clio Cup car, specification, etc. and the PalmerSport Renault Clio 172 day. I wondered if it possible to obtain an R-Sport Clio Cup catalogue, listing all the performance parts available for the Cup, with a...

definitive list of mods for Mk1 172

David @ K-TEC, Could you make me a stainless steel Mk2 172 exhaust that didnt have a tailpipe that exited out of the bumper but instead looked standard/factory? If so, how much would it be? Also, what springs/air filters have you tried and recommend for the Mk2 172?

    Clio 172 Strut Braces

Where abouts are you? There are plenty of decent powder coaters in the South East who have anything from black to candy flip colours! There is also a place who will black chrome powder coat it!

Captain - what tyre pressures do you recommend for optimum handling?

    172 carbon engine cover

Too expensive for me. £250 goes a long way towards a set of tyres for a track day

    SILVER 2.0 BADGES FOR DOORS

JAS - You have to take the side strips off, very easy, just pop the cap off inside the car... Do you have to take the door trim off? How do you get the Mk2 side strips off?

    Small Cheap 172 Mods

Bradfordlad - IMHO I cant stand stickers on my car so I dont subscribe to the "Keep the car model badges you should be proud of the car not trying to disguse it". Each to their own!

Which is the true power figure for a 172

I prefer the Jap method for quoting BHP...take the Skyline for example. Quoted @ 280bhp, actual more like 330bhp Only cuz the Japs cant declare more than 280bhp...hahaha! Imagine picking up your 172 and it actually had 250bhp - NICE!

EasyTrack - dedicated 172 track day

The cost of Bedford could be prohibitive though....the Sensation Day is £650 per person! EasyTrack were telling me that Brands is around a £9k booking fee, and Rockingham £16k!!
