Cheers I'll give it a try. I have got the contacts synced OK but it's more the calendars that don't seem to be updating properly.
Did find a few on ebay for around £40 but they're from the states so I'm not sure if there'd be a problem setting it up...
Re: iTunes Ring tone help?
I got it to work by unchecking then checking the sync option in the ringtones tab of the iphone page in the devices list. Seems to work fine now.
I just signed up for the free trial and have to say that although it does seem a little expensive, the features and sync options on it are great.
Thinking of getting a code from ebay to sign up once the trial runs out.
I like the fact that when I add a contact or calendar, it's sent to the...
At the end if the day it's free and does everything you'd expect and more from a visual voicemail service. The fact that it's on the homescreen is a bonus in my eyes.
Visual voicemail snobbery? LOL, now that's a new one...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
this is a MUST HAVE for anyone that can't get visual voicemail, i.e. voda, orange and t-mobile customers.
It's a third party app that does the same job and works really well. Well worth a try.

I've just downloaded an app called hullomail which is supposed to do something similar. It's free and has some good reviews so it's worth a punt.
They need to sort their acts out though. This is advertised as a key feature in the keynote and on the Apple site so how the networks get away with...
Is it the same for other networks? Is the feature only on O2?
TBH I'm majorly disappointed with this and am contemplating trying to get out of the contract. I can't see how they can't offer a core feature after all this time.
Is there a cool-off period for new contracts?
If so I may switch to...
Re: iTunes Ring tone help?
Did you fix this? I'm having the same issue. all tones show up in iTunes in the phone's ringtone section but only one is listed on the phone.
Anybody got a good free twitter app recommendation?
Currently using tweetie which seems ok, but not great TBH. I don't find it that great for finding new users to follow etc
I own 3 of the above and still don't see it as a big deal. How many people do you know with facetime access compared to skype access? And the fact you can't officially facetime over 3G anyway makes facetime on the iphone kind of a moot point.
There's not a big difference between them. Let's...
Re: Fallout : New Vegas - Released 22/10/2010
I really need to get into the first one. Only got to the bit where I was getting flamed by a load of ants and then stopped playing. Maybe I should give it another go.
fackin hell wasn't supposed to be out til the 22nd!
Give us a good review on it when you get chance. What's the size/weight like compared to an iphone? I realise it's bigger and heavier but ridiculously so or still good proportions?
Will anybody be jumping on the windows phone bandwagon when it's released? I'm not sure where to go next. Moving away from blackberry but dont want to shell out on iphone contracts, especially considering I have an ipod touch for most of the apps I'd use anyway. I also like having a separate...
Track pad is epic. I'm never gonna buy a mouse for mine. If i get anything it'll be the standalone track pad.
I also love the hot corners feature and the four finger swipes for desktop and expose.
Is it still to be release on orange/t-mobile? Old reports said that it would be, with only o2 missing out for now. But there's no word of it at the moment.
I'm on Orange and don't really want to leave due to the merger with T-Mobile and increased signal now.
Also, could be cheaper than...
Depends on what you want tbh. If you're doing photo editing or other such fine work at a desk then the mouse is probably better but for using when sitting on the couch with the computer hooked up to an external screen, the trackpad kicks ass. I had airmouse for the touch but it's nowhere near as...
Just get the mini display port to HDMI along with the 3.5mm as Tom said. It's what I've done and it's a lot easier than *****ing about with all the digital shite.
No they're not powered. I just dont want there to be any latency. When I hit the pads on the controller, i want the command in the program to launch instantly whether it's creating a loop, launching a cue point, controlling an effect etc.
Shocking logo and the lack of colour is GASH. Used to be so much easier to differentiate between playlists/podcasts/store etc before.
Suppose i'll have to do the hack but I'd be surprised if Apple kept it that way.
