Yer seems decent enough, is that a dual core intel CPU?
I recently got a quad core Vostro 400 system with 19" screen and am very happy with it, running Vista Home Premium.
Umm what's wrong with Task Manager?
And most speed up apps are cack, just install anything you don't want, disable apps on startup that you don't regularly use and then upgrade if you still want more speed.
I quite like Vista; but there's no business case for having it over XP.
If it is just your personal "business" computer then it's up to you.
And you can use the same disc of office on either OS.
You can calculate a flywheel figure based on the run down speed in gear, or something along those lines.
Of course take this with a pinch of salt, but depending on the dyno involved it can be quite accurate I'm sure.
If you do a search there's loads of details.
Basically 172 has more extras, half leather, A/C, Xenons, etc
172 Cup is lighter with less toys and therefore quicker, plus has better alloys, spoiler and splitter.
Cup will usually cost a bit more to insure.
I've used one in the Northants area a few years back on my 172 Cup and I was extremely happy with the service.
Problem is none of this actually helps you as you need to know about the "dealer" in your area.
