Stumbled over a mk2 ph2 at the scrappys with Renault Sat Nav Fitted. The dashboard itself is nackered but the screen is in good condition with its surround. The Buttons in Front of the screen have been Taken and the actual sat nav unit has been taken (its screwed into the boot). My question is...

there is no lock on the ph2 one. does the central locking work on your boot as well? if so then yes you just need the button, badge and surround. ta josh

the oil around where the selector goes in is very common. Most people just leave it. Unless its a lot of oil coming out. Have you checked gear box oil level? ta josh

Im getting the exact same thing. Somtimes it does it and other times it doesn't. Ive got a CV boot gone (N/S) so im going to chage the shaft, if this doesn't cure it im going to change the other shaft (with the weight) as well.

Does sound like a throttle body issue. In theory it would come up on the fault finder though. Ill have a look at it on wednesday for you if i come down. They do seem to have a lot o issues with the trottle body. Whats the idle like on startup? ta josh

why were you suprised. Nearly all the popular small hatches come in this spec. A/C is still nearly always an option.

clutch realease bearing. When its sat at idle in neutral, put the pedal in then release th pedal, does it make a rattly noise like there is a marble in there? ta josh

Is it correct on a 1.4 16v these must be replaced at 36k, if so how do i obtain the part numbers? What is the rough cost? And are they easy to fit/adjust to the right tension myself? thanks josh
