I would clamp the old flex.
Undo it Nearest the wheel 1st.
Then undo the other side and as soon as its off put your finger over the hole to stop any fluid coming out.
shove the new one on.
Done done done :)

It's rather hard to find a tensioner on its own as no one would want to buy just a tensioner as when the belt is un-tensioned no matter how old it is it will need to be re-newed

council run waste places moan about car parts. Some scrap yards will take them. I always scrap my seats at scrap yards. But if its to far then just cut them up with an angel grinder and put them in black bins :)
:S How do you adjust the service brake part of the rear braking system ?
I've used the rear brake adjuster to get the parking brake perfect so that's adjusted it the best I can with out it sticking to much
Get some one to put a foot over the exhaust and get your head under to see where its coming from.
On the cheap for less then £10 you could get a bandage, If its only small.:)
Cylinders are easy and cheap but removing the old pipe nuts isn't :P
Just changed the old one. But now not sure what else to do.
put new shoes in it also changed the Flex back to the cylinder and the cylinder.
I just don't want to use the free re-test for them to say it still isn't good.
