Just checked the loom and all earths, Every thing seems Alright. Started up and played with the wires and still misfires / wont rev above 4000 grrr

tried a new coil pack just sat on the engine and it ran fine for a while reving like normal then bolted the new coil pack in and its now got the same problem wont rev above 4000 and has a misfire

Clio 1.2 16v D4F Misfire on cylinder 1 and 4 Fault codes P0500 vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction and o2 Bank 1 Sensor 2 Any ideas ?

Spark is now fixed that is unrelated and is now 100% sorted

Today we cleaned up all the earths again. We now have a spark back (not that power full but should start it) (i dont think this is todo with cleaning earths as we did that before) We still cant get any fuels. Where would people be checking from here ?

With the newer immobilisers you lose starter motor as well and we still have that. 100% sure the immobiliser is fine, Well fine i mean it matchs and disables still could be a problem some where.

The new engine loom we fitted was checked and all earths cleaned and checked. :-(

Very temping. Also forgot to say muiltmetered the injectors and theres some thing there cant remember what, What are the injectors ment to be.

Any more ideas ??? Could any of the interior earths be effecting it ??? or any of the interior wiring ?

We did check the earths. Today we changed the earth and made the connection alot better while changing the Fly wheel sensor

This car needs to be fixed and out the workshop its becoming a nightmare They brought it in after its had a engine change (done by them selfs) after this it never started. (not sure what happend when this was done or if any wrong parts have been used) We tested it Computer just said lamba so...

Got a auto gearbox in thats leaking near the starter motor (comes from near the bottom bolt) No oil dripping out of the opening in the housing at the bottom so i'm guessing its not the convertor. at high revs it FLOODS out Any ideas?

All we really need is to be able to get the "colour code, Engine code , and maybe gearbox code" from just the registration. Every thing else we can do our selfs. It's just to make sure our customers get the right parts. For what i stated ^^^ what package should we sign up to Cheers mate:)

Will the 2000 1.6 8v K7M Gearbox fit the 2000 1.4 8V?

As long as it fits and doesn't over hang i dont have a problem with it :-)

My new plates have turned up, I've messured them with this tool we use to messure bearings (Digital Vernier Caliper) and the plates they sent message 98mm. Still fit in the rescess nicely.

I just got some made up for 94mm, I messured the resses and it seems to be 100mm.
