probably got the wrong driveshafts then, there's several variations

was the gearbox from the same model? And if not were the old driveshafts used?

The jack with my 182 was crap with a wee tab on it but the one with my 172 is OK, couldn't get my trolley jack under it the other night as the tyre was flat as a pancake and the car is lowered.
FYI the arch gaps fill with snow / slush and it freezes up, need to clear right around the wheel in this weather or you'll get rubbing ice when steering on lock.
Battery appears to be in good health and is charging from the alternator, diagnosis is just under fuelling due to extreme cold.
Blip the throttle to give it some fuel and it splutters into life.

Cheers, battery is a calcium high current jobby from Halfrauds and only a year old so I wouldn't have suspected it personally. I'll connect my motorcycle optimate to it to check its health and see.
If it is the battery I have a receipt for 4 years guarantee at least.

Yeah track rods themselves, not the track rod ends. This tightened up my 172 hugely
There's always movement of the strut tops from lock to lock it looks really awful but is pretty normal.
182 exhausts hold water check for corrosion,
look for oil around the cam cover it leaks VIA the bolts,
182 rear shocks fail quite often look for signs of oil on the shocks.
Engine and gearbox mounts can be iffy and cause a banging on hard acceleration,
