surely the distances are that big to compensate for lack of attention on the road etc i.e. not just the time it takes for you to put your foot on the pedal but the time it takes for you to realise somethings up and put it on the pedal. probably also compensates for skidding too.
can i ask how you learnt how to do the conversion?
obviously you are an accomplished mechanic but in terms of the turbo addition and other parts how did you know what was required and reset the fueling etc? is there some kind of established guide of how the conversion should be done? rather...
taking the test in the valver is probably a bad idea. Instructors and testers notoriously hate the boy racer crowd and will probably be more harsh on you.
Yeah there are a few horror stories but what i find hard to believe is that a company will market a product that is dangerous to use in terms of damage to the wheel it is designed to clean.
the concentration is specifically selected and testing is done before the product is released so why...
good guide Brazo ;)
Im not saying the previous guy was right in all he said but i agree that the part about acidic wheel cleaners being bad isnt actually true. The acid helps break up the solid brake dust on alloys and the companies obviously design the product with the right consistancy for...

Having a bit of a problem getting my tracking done up here in Stafford because the car is too low for them to attach their devices around the wheels.
Therefore i assume i need it to be laser alligned? is there anywhere in the stafford area that can do this?
Thanks
£200 or there abouts if you took it to a random garage.
or under £100 if you can get a mechanic off here to do it or know a mate in the trade to get it done cheap.
i failed mine today too :(
failed on highlights not being high enough, a split in the sill which needs welding up :o and a missing offside front anti-roll bar linkage bolt.
gutted.waste of £40
