If there is any glue left on the window after removing the sticker, use some nail varnish remover. Just make sure you dont get any on any plastic trim or your seats.

Chris.
Ive just taken out a policy with Admiral too. Are the any good?
Ive declared my mods - lowering, and different wheels. Premium still seemed really cheap.
Cheers.
Chris.
Hello folks, any ideas on this...
My car has been sat outside my sisters house for 2 years, I washed it yesterday for the first time in ages. The roof is now covered in little browny black bumpy bits which I guess are tree sap.
Ive tried to polish them out, and I have used a bug and tar...
you defo need an MOT, Insurance cert, and V5, but I dont know if you can do it on the spot any more.
Ill send the missus to a post office 2moro to find out!
Cheers.
Chris.
cheers vix.
It was just a little post office so there isnt a helpdesk. the queue was blocking up the section where they had the forms, so I gave up.
Im just hoping I can tax it in the post office without having to send anything off, as I want the car on the road on the 1st June!
Hello everybody,
My Clio is finally finished, and ready to go back on the road. When the tax ran out, I had to declare it SORN.
does anyone know what I have got to do to put it back on the road? The DVLA site tells me I need Form V10 I think, but its not on the DVLA site for download.
Ive...
what sort of filter have you got?
Is it a replacement panel filter element, or an induction kit?
If its an induction kit, it is usually just held on with a big hose clip, which you will just need a hose clip driver for, and then pop out the 2 breather hoses. This is what my K & N was like...
IMO....
Colour coding first.
RSI skirts.
tinted side repeaters?
Possibly a debadged front bonnet. A matter of taste though.
and leather defo IMO.
Regards,
Chris.
p.s. lovely looking car! well done. the calipers look great too.
Iim not keen this one much. Colour doesnt do much for me. Im not a big fan of the 2 piece Dimma wheels either. Interior looks lush though.
I saw a nice red dimma one in Hereford today. It was a P reg, so a phase 3. Probably a 1.4rt or a 1.8 RSI.
I have a valver engine in my garage which you are welcome to come and look at and take dimensions from if you want?
Im in hereford if its any use. Let me know, as Im gonna start stripping it soon.
Regards,
Chris.
someone made one, and put a pic of it on here. try running a search.
Ill be making my own soon, out of heat proof matting stuff. It is very expensive, but Im gonna get a free sample from one of our suppliers at work.
Regards,
Chris.
Yeh, Ive got a little remote control thing for mine. looks pretty cool, but Im gonna be buying a new head unit soon, and was going to try and use the existing controls.
The pioneer remote is cool though!
Cheers,
Chris.
Hello!
My valver has got a panasonic head unit.
Because of this, my little stalk thing next to the steering wheel doesnt work. I gues its not even plugged in anywhere, its probably loose behind the head unit somewhere!
What make head unit do I need to get it to work? Do I need an original...
Cheers everyone for the replies.
what is the ride like with 17s? is it very harsh? i guess my 195-45-15s have got a similar profile anyway?
Cheers.
Chris.
yeah, there are loads of speed humps where I live too. cant get to work without travelling over some!
I guess youve got 205-40-17 tyres?
are your arch liners still in place in the front?
Cheers.
