the units costing £000's surely are only this expensive because they come with a monitor/computer?? im only really interested in the fault diagnosis' available and possibly some info regarding engine rpm/power/ignition advance etc. (not planning on trying to remap the ecu or anything!!)

yeh most cars (petrol) made after 2000 should be OBD2 compatible. there are a few models iv found that say they have been tested on renaults so they must work...Renault uses ISO i think?

Im seriously considering getting the stealth system for my Cup but have heard is it quite boomy when motorway driving - i dont mind a nice growl but constant noise when cruising down the m11 could get a bit annoying... Has any1 got a video/sound of this exhaust fitted cos i really wanna hear...

where do people put there cold air feeds normally???? the grill would obviously be 1st choice but uv got the radiator an fan right behind it...

Fitted the kit the other day - sounds pretty nice, but cant really see anywhere to fit a cold air feed in??? the engine bay is so small and where the airbox was is now a huge hole!! few gaps here and there but cant see a direct route to the cone itself....as it tucks right infront of the battery...

does anyone know if these are any good - had a look on the net and they look pretty sweet...also only bout 90 notes!! would be putting it on a 172 cup

nah pretty sure it will idle higher mate...if you take off the hose an block the source with something - the idle speed will go down if theres a leak.. or it could be throttle stop - check that the throttle is being completely released against the throttle stop by the throttle cable. If the...

sounds like it could be a vacuum leak - check the intake manifold hoses for leaks...most common cause for this problem

what are the best springs to fit on my 53plate 172 cup....? im dead happy with the handling and ride but know itl look so much tighter bout 40mm closer to th tarmac!!! what do people recommend. in the past i have bought Gmax shocks an springs (pretty gash imo) and Spax springs (just ok...) but...

Lol! living in the countryside means you need to be ready for off road action at all times!!! seriously tho, wouldnt mind it lowered a little but would have to do the whole coilover thing (EXPENSIVE)... the ride an handling is just TOO good stock anyway mate
