I have a set for my M3 and they work a treat. Even in the wet at anything remotely cool they are more confidence inspiring than summer tyres. More lateral movement though so you can't stick it in like you would have on summers.
In snow and ice, I was driving up hills passing all manner of...
Might be a daft question but why do you care?
If you can afford to tax and insure it, maintain and fuel it and most of all enjoy it which you clearly do, does 43p per mile really matter?
Credit where it's due for working the figures through!
Get those Depos off!The 19's look great in the anthracite. The winters are great for grip but there's a lot more lateral movement. I'd say you're a bit early for winters tbh.
That looks well. Very evolutionary styling (which is no bad thing). E90 shell with F10 rear lights and a new front end. This makes me very excited about the new M3!
I'm not sure why weight of the driver is relevant. I weigh "the wrong side" of 15 stone due to being as wide as I am tall. It doesn't mean 50kg lost from the Clio will not make a difference. If I could remove an arm to knock 20kg off my body weight I would but sadly that's not an option.
Absolutely not worth it. I paid £1k for my 172 which is less than you'd pay to fit the brakes, coils and engine to a 1.2. In fairness, a tidy 1.2 is probably worth as much as a 172 these days so trade the 1.2 in and spend the money you were going to waste on the 1.2 on insuring the 172.
Not sure why rental property is being suggested so often. It's a good deposit admittedly but there are much less time consuming ways to make a few quid.
Plus your years margin won't be wiped out when you need to buy a new boiler. And the presence of a mortgage on the rental property could...
Thanks Guys. The Tilton looks great.
So I definitely shouldn't fit a compensator?
What would be the implication of fitting the master cylinder and servo only as a temporary measure?
I've bought a Cup non ABS setup from ebay but they seller says his mechanic can't find the rear compensator.
What does it look like and where exactly is it located?
There must and will be specialists who will insure you at less than 3.8k without spying on you.
Try Sky on here and if they don't specialise in your age group, they'll be able to tell you who will.
Also add your Dad and/or Mum onto your policy. My good lady made two claims at the same time...
