So it's the brass bushes at fault? I thought it may be as shaving from the collars would result in the ball bein compressed further.
What symptoms did you have pre-machining?
The cars fully stripped with Spax RSX, Whiteline and R888's. I was around half a second quicker than the next quickest RS around Blyton last week so I'd say I'm not too slow.
Would more camber at the rear than on the front be an issue?

I had my geo done and am now running -2.24 degrees on the front which has made a huge difference.
The rear is at -1.24 and 1.36 so I'm going to square this up with a 10 minute shim. Would another 1 degree be to much for the rear for pure track use?

Vibratechnics mounts aren't horrendously harsh once they've been run for a little while.
They give a much sharper drive and you have none of the knocking issues that standard mounts give even when new.

My stripped 172 is awful to drive as a daily. Such fun when it's on track but the drive there and back is a killer.
