I found a quarter pounder under the seat of an old car.
I also found the £150 deposit I paid for the 172 tucked into the front of the Renault wallet in the glove box. D'oh!
You could get an interior for £150 to £200 and sell your fronts and what you don't need for the bulk of that.
It will cost more than a 182 for new from Renault.
I've stripped down my interior loom to remove all unused plugs etc and am also extending the loom to the fuel pump so I can route it all the n/s then around the back for neatness.
As the car is stripped, poly windows etc I thought it may be worth adding a kill switch into the fuel pump section...
I am trying to get a poverty spec blower working in my climate 172 but am told climate wiring is very different.
Does anyone have wiring diagrams for a climate 172 and non air-con, non-climate model?
It's the two sensors at the back of door aperture by the lock strike plate I'm looking to remove.
It's a pure track car so no concerns over wanting to revert back. That day has long gone!
I'm sure the last time I unplugged a sensor to test, it thre up the airbag light. Could be wrong.
So I could remove them from the loom in full Mick and no lights will show on the dash? I don't have a courtesy light, weight saving and all!
I'm currently tidying up my rear loom, removing all redundant wires and connectors.
Can resistors be used in place of the door closure sensors to spoof the airbag ecu and prevent the airbag light?
The cars a phase 2 172.
I fitted a poverty spec blower tonight but on testing it doesn't work.
The original blower worked fine.
When I unplugged the old blower, there were 2 plugs however the new blower only had one plug or did I miss something?
How would I test that the blower is at fault?
Doesn't exist. Poor drivers with poo tyres is the issue.
Got a text from my brother this morning about his mate "The M3 sort of died last night, slipped on the ice, hit a kerb at 100 and bent both wheels under". I've had M3's for 4 years and mine isn't dead.
I stopped reading the posts on this thread a while ago.
People are only giving you advice, stop trying to twist your own posts and make out like they're hypothetical.
As said, borrowing for poo coilovers is stupid. Borrowing for poo coilovers for a 1.2 that you already pay thousands to...
Thats not going to be filled with microfibres and a Nilfisk though in all fairness.
As advertisement I'm sure it'll catch the eye but if it's a business proposition it'll take a lot of detailing sessions to recoup the outlay.
Credit where it's due as said however it's a real Jack of all...
Is this the guy who flipped when he found marker pen under the carpet of his VXR from the factory?
Good work but a total waste of a vehicle. It's not a car so it won't be that quick or tidy in the bends yet it's not a van as it has half of Carpet Right in the back.
