yup may be a little glazed a few hard hits on the pedal 'll clear that tho
best way too cool pads is to drive without using them. worst thing to do is cane them then stop, especially if you then hold the brakes on for a long period or apply the handbrake, that f***s the discs 'cos they cool...
if you mean the top mount the bit you can see from inside the engine bay then yup its normal. watch them and get someone to wind it lock to lock, you'll like that s**t
fitting lowering springs causes the damper to overstroke the main and most apparent problem with this is they start to leak as the seals fail. the other thing is they are less effective and bottom out easier
i don't paint engines just steam clean 'em. i've found if you paint 'em no matter what you use they stink for ages afterwards. and to be fair if i see a painted engine i just think someones covering up oil leaks ect. theres nowt wrong with a nice rusty block!
