This site has loads of info about small for factor PCs and the forum has a lot of posts by Shuttle owners:
http://www.sfftech.com/
Have a look on there. The Socket A Shuttles are a bit long in the tooth now, but they are bullet proof reliable and if you spend a bit of time configuring them...
I've had nvidia and ATI cards in my shuttle no probs. However, as people have said above make sure the card fits! My current ATI card has a smallish fan and it's a pretty tight squeeze. Girth might be more of an issue than length (as ever.... ;) )
I use this to get to my PC at home and then from there I can see everything:

It costs, but I get a free account so I think it's great! :)
Or as others have said you can set up VNC or just use Terminal Services (assuming you are running Windoze)
When I got Sky installed the bloke they sent round wanted to drill a hole in my wall to plug the box into the phone via the most direct route. I said b****cks to that and for him to plug it in with a long bit of wire and I'd make it safe. As soon as he left I unplugged it and never bothered to...
I've done 20,000 miles in a year. That's what a round trip of 60 miles a day for work does for your car! Agree with the above though, what's the point of buying a great drivers car like a 172/182 and then sticking it in the garage?
I sold my 28-105 asI bought a 28-135 IS. Both are good lenses but IMHO the 28-105 is a better lens. I've found the IS useful but the 28-105 is sharper and I wish I would have kept it. I find that if I'm going slow enough to really need IS then I've usualy got my tripod on me anyway. I've used it...

Barry boys is a great site, but do we have to have the same arguments time after time after time? It always goes:
Barry Boys: This car is sh!te, owner is a tool. I am a very busy an importamt person, so important that I barely have...
The MD of Sports Interactive, who make FM and made all the original CM games, used to play for my football team and I still see him at Watford games every week (he has the season ticket for the seat in front of me). He is, unsurprisingly, a computer game addict and always has either his PSP or...
Me and 2 friends did something similar. Bought an MG Montego (V quick in a straight line, hated corners...) for £180 and drove it to Rome and back over a 3 week period. Got some strange looks when we took it round Monaco...
My 10D is still going strong! I played with a 30D but think I'll wait until they up it to 10Mp, in other words when the 40D comes out! :) TBH, the 400D will probably out perform my 10D, but I need something with a higher frame rate so I'm waiting for the next 'mid range' body from Canon. Either...
I had a weird rattle inside the hatch around the area of the wiper motor, it was quite loud. I took the back panel off the boot only to find one of the bolts holding the wiper motor on had fallen off! Any one beat that for a rattle?
If you want to use larger lenses I think the grips are vital for the reasons stated above. They're not that expensive either. I got one after I spent the weekend with a press pass at the Leeds festival 2 years ago. After 3 straight days of takinng mostly portrait style shots with a big zoom and...
Even though these figures are rarely reproducable, are people really that upset that the 197 is 0.3 of a second slower to 60 and 1.2 seconds slower to 100 than a 182? Does it matter that much? When in real world driving would that ever be an issue?
I've driven a 197 and thought it was...
The shiny thing is the mirror. The AF sensor is a seperate componant. If the dirt is on the mirror it won't show on your photos but if you clean it you run the risk of the dirt appearing somewhere else... I'd leave it or get it cleaned by a proper camera repair shop (Fixation etc...)
Yeah, sorry, I should have made that clearer. What I meant was that the driving position in the 197 is very good and the seats are excellent. I don't like the driving position in the 172/182 and they would have had to have madee a major f**k up if the 197 was worse, IMHO.
I test drove a 197 yesterday from Renault London West. Me and the mrs turned up at about 11:15 am, the place was empty so I got to drive it for about 30-40 mins! I thought it was fantastic. To sum up (I own a 172 Ph2):
Good points:
* extrior styling looks 200% better in the flesh than the...
I quite often shoot with my 'other' eye open to see whats going on around me. Especially important at football to make sure you move out of the way of the ball or even more importantly a player! (at Stockport I almost got taken out by two players sliding off the pitch AND I got hit by a...
Reason I'm not going with EF-S lenses is that I'm planning on keeping my 10D until a second hand 1Dn is affordable. They can't use the EF-S lenses and I also still use my film SLR...

I've not used any of the lenses you mention, so can't comment on absolute quality, but I do know people with the 75-300 who are more than happy with it. If you want to shot in low light you could run into a problem as 5.6, even at a high ISO, won't give you that high shutter speeds. Then...
I know that 200 will probably be too short even with the tc, but until I can aford a decent 300mm it will have to do! ;) I was lucky at goodwood as I managed to get near to the track with a decent view.
Fair point about head ons, though it depends to a certain extent how fast the cars are...
I've got a 10D and get some quite good motosport results:
(only 2 I've got on the web...)
This in uncropped - If you get rid of the heads it looks much better!
The first thing I'd say is NEVER use the picture modes - you'll learn a lot more doing it yourself. I usually put the...
Has anyone used the online system to book their car in for a service?
I tried to book my car into Renault London West for a service using the online system. They were full but said I could drop it into the while you wait Renault Minute and they would do it for me first thing. Fair enough - I...
Well, he looked like he was in a hurry - it came storming up behind me just before the roundabout. We got held up by a Vauxhall mini MPV thing.
Maybe his alarm didn't go off this morning? ;-)
