id imagine thered be an LED directly behind the start of each needle, maybe gibby could confirm?
if there is, then itd just be a case of fitting another colour LED in place, but be warned, due to the angle of LED, the colours might mix a bit close to the needle
:( about the lack of gap... ive had my instrument panel off before to paint the insert, but never actually opened it to check.
Im waiting on pioneer getting back to me about the wavelength of the LEDs on my headunit before i order any LEDs, just to try and get a consistant colour :)
gibby, you must be sick of all the questions, but i have a few more
is the instrument panel vibrant or dull with those LEDs? i was always told to go for a 140mcd LED in the clio
next question, is there a gap between the dials and the standard LEDs? even just a few mm?
pull like hell from the bottom...
its just a foamy kinda glue sealant that should be holding it on now
once that glues off you pull the doorcard upwards off the door
not possible to get your hand up underneath the engine pay and pull the cable to release the bonnet catch?
a tip to anyone delocking their doors - always include a way of powering the c/l in the event of the battery failing (ie a plug low down in the engine bay to allow you to connect a...
id be curious to see what their policy states in terms of what these 18-21yr olds are allowed to drive. Does this mean i could insure a supercar for £1 per mile?
im REALLY interested to see what they offer - you can safely assume what im paying justnow, is ALOT better than what NUD are offering
"drivers will pay more during "peak" times, between 11pm and 6amdrivers will pay more during "peak" times, between 11pm and 6am"
11-6? thats hardly peak? is that when most accidents happen statistically...? isnt it actually quieter at these times?
i do too many miles for that, and f**k...
had the same with my mk2, a NIGHTMARE to fit...
the first pioneer (deh-p7500mp) was hard enough, but now ive got my 80MP theres just too many wires, surpressors, plugs, etc etc - had to take the top of the dash off, and it was still a nightmare to fit... lol

id stay clear of clifford... theyre basically a name, and not as reliable as toad alarms - ive heard more than 1 clifford/toad installers say that, and a few clifford owners agree after they get over the amazingness of having a clifford alarm...
hey, just bought a new headunit and im trying to run one of the remote adapters in my Mk2 ph1 1.2 but i cant seem to find where the 6 pin yellow connector plugs into. The instructions say im looking for a yellow plug, but the only one i find is an 8 pin, and the original remote control cable is...
the speedo will naturally be out by a few mph, nothing to worry about, get a set of 17s and it virtually eliminates speedo error - atleast it did for me (verified with gps)
do all the doors unlock when you turn the key in the drivers lock? if so then you have central locking obviously.
The alarm should unlock the car when wired correctly.
id have to disagree, ive owned 2 clios, and in comparison, both of my mates golfs are much better built - ok so theyre still not perfect, but in comparison to my clios they are far superior and a much more comfortable ride - although theyre not as agile and theyre pretty boring to drive imo...
actually, i havent read any of ur other posts...lol
and the orange lights dont need to flash for the same reasons volvos orange lights on the sides dont flash and neither do big trucks :)
em... actually thats not true arron...
basically ur car is only allowed to show white at the front, red at the rear, and orange at the side, with the indicators being an exception - they must be shown all round.
The ONLY legal setup is orange to the sides, white at the front, and red at the...
you can download GATSO/mobile/redlight overlays for the software, in the same way you can download mcdonalds overlays, lol
theres also additional proximity software that can be had to alert you when you approach the point of interest (ie gatso)
yeah, first four digits of the postcode.
The door to door is different. The first four letters are basically telling it what town, just to save you typing in a town - its one or the other really - then it gives the chance to put in the street name (if it let u put in a full postcode it wouldnt...
personally id rather have the golf after having driven a mk4 and im also regularly a passenger in one.
WRX might be fast, but lets face it, its every boy racer with a corsa/novas dream car... end of story...
if it was between the 182 and golf gti, id take the golf if money isnt a big issue...
