Typically Black looks dirty very quickly and Silver looks the same clean or dirty ;). However, a well washed/polished black gold 182 looks gorgeous.
The cob web effects you refer to are swirl marks I presume? Just make sure you use a lambswool mit and don't take it through a car wash!
I guess it depends on the car, a stupidly loud exhaust on a clio/corsa/saxo/fiesta will always (in my opinion) give the impression to people of chav. :)
I fixed my passenger footwell rattle, there is a wiring loom bound in "crinkley" tape that rubs against the kick panel in the footwell and it sounds like a contant rattle.
I put a bit of foam in there and it did the trick.
I had a look today at the base model, my thoughts are:
Much better driving position! At last!! (you can tell you sit lower)
Small steering wheel right where I want it.
Pedals perfect place and distance travel.
Much more room in the back, can realisticly get four people in it without...

I need to put my standard radio back in, but don't have the radio code. Someone on here used to be able to get the code from the chassis number - is this still possible?
