yeh tie wraps are better. going to try my hand at fitting CV gaitors, might buy the stretching tool, repairing holes with puncture repair kits works well. this one has held fine. only problem is my feeble attempt at tie wrapping it on, mainly caused by grease where the gaitor is held means it...
yeh great now..
Clips are available from renault or matt black (i imagine he has loads) Spacers i originally ordered were delta mics from wheel-spacers.co.uk but they had a supply problem and broke a lot of promises so agreed to do my H+R ones at cost (which was 75 quid) and then never got...
sliding them is supposed to work and it did for me. there is actually a lil retaining clip that can be accessed by removing a small plastic grommet on the back of the door (behind the strip) near the door catch. remove this and push the clip in while sliding and they should come off no problem.
to properly fit them you will want the renault clips. you will need to drill the side skirt of the car (the bit with stone chip finish) if you don't want to do that you could use tiger seal to put them on.
i messed round with my selector fork (bit the cable attaches to on the gear box) as its kind of a floating item (not attached as such.. touch wood its smooth and creak free.
don't know if i have the reciept to be honest. I may just pop in and see what they say, bit annoyed though as its a hole and not split. how does a hole in them emerge?

yeh sometimes you need to request them to lock ur wheel in place. they use this device that rests on your seat to do it. My steering wheel was way out and it was just the tracking nothing was actually bent. clios seem quite prone to it actually.
seems steep. I have had mine laser aligned at 2 places. National tires and Dexel. Dexel is 10er all the time and national is usually 20 but 10 on offer. It is laser alignment as well.
its a clay bar.......
you lube the surface (panel by panel) up with quick detailer then carefully drag the clay over it making sure you keep folding it for a clean edge. This removes industrial fallout and other deposits from the paintwork such as tar etc that wouldn't be removed through...
i think you guys are failing to understand. the parts in question had been resprayed before fitting. Originally Cup blue but the painted pearl black. Al have you sorted PC yet?
