Looked at both of these and according to the description neither of these will fit my seatbelt tongue, as it's the wrong dimensions, still struggling to find anything.
Matt123roll do you know where you got yours or who made them?
Sounds good, I'm getting mine on Friday, I think I'm going to fit the sliders, maybe the side to side movement is something they've improved with the new model?
Yeah this is the kind of thing I'm looking at, I'm assuming that a bolt through the tunnel is the most secure? It's only temporary so might just buy some of these until I get my harnesses
Yes I did haha, I cant find anything like that with a buckle to extend the length, so just a bit stuck with what to do.
I've seen people use a seat belt stalk bolted to the side mount but i didnt know how safe this would be given that the seat is fibre glass
I'm getting my Corbeau Clubsports next week but I'm not getting harnesses just yet, does anyone have a decent solution for running standard seatbelts? Obviously the anchor, buckle clip thing ( i dont what know what the correct term is ) will come out with the standard seats, so I need something...
Nah I was using a socket and a geet big breaker bar. Got one of them out, the other came half out then just got chewed up, ended up having to drill it out.
Yup, now stuck with the seat bolt, snapped my T40, bought another one today got it a quarter of the way out and now the Torx head is just...
I'm stuck getting the rear seat belts out of my 172 cup. I've unbolted them from next to the rear speaker and taken the plastic trim off above the parcel shelf, but I can't see a way of getting the belt out through the slot in the plastic trim.
Am I missing something here, can anyone help?
Cheers!
Might be a daft a question as I guess it depends on the driver, but any body have a preference between the standard and XL seats? Trying to decide which to get. Obviously width of the seat will depend on if you can fit in it or not, but more thinking of comfort in general, don't wanna be...
I might try taking off a small piece and re do it, re re clean, re sand etc, see if that gets rid of anything remaining on the dash. Really dont want to take my dashboard out again D:
Yeah I flocked it myself, I cleaned it all thoroughly and sanded it all before i started. The top of the dash is fine, it's just the lower parts.
I've never used silicone on it, not sure about who ever had it before me, I bought the dash to flock and swap for mine, just in case it didn't go to...
Anybody else with a flocked dash had the problem where when it's cold the flock shrivels up, it's only on certain parts of my dash, where it's the harder plastics - the lower dash and steering column surround. Once I've been driving for a bit with the heaters on it's fine again. This is...
I'm probably just used to it, been driving the car for a while with the OE seats now. Maybe I'll just get the Xlows and tell my GF to wear platforms ha.
When you say too high do you mean higher than OE? I'm 6ft1 and I don't find the OE too bad, maybe I'm just used to it. I need the sliders as my GF occasionally drives my car. Sounds like the Xlows will be best. Do you know anything about the OMP's sitting wonky?
I'm looking to get some Corbeau club sports for my 172 cup, been reading a few threads about fitting seats in general, just wondering the best subframes to buy for them? Was looking at either the OMP ones or some from Jon Foz, read a few posts saying that the OMP frames sit wonky and are too...
I've recently had my entire dash out to have it flocked. When I've put it back in I've had a couple of issues.
The lights for my heater controls no longer work, the right side of my clock display is really dim, the left is perfectly fine.
Also, does anyone know what this is for? I've...
