Lol at the poo. No one wants to use a portaloo at a track day. I know it's not going to be a huge weight saving I'm just intrigued to see how much it may save. The interior is already fully stripped, Aircon is coming out as is sound deadening, I'm running Superleggera's which are very light...

I couldn't tell on the dash lights as an ABS sensor is dicky so it's always on at the mo. I died on a trackday. Misfire under load then cutout. Wouldn't start initially then died but was rough.

A good service, a panel filter and RSTuner and lose some weight if you're really desperate to speed things up a little.

Crank sensor? Mine died recently and it sounded like it was running on bolts when it ran.

I've bought the Cup brackets Mate.

I've got the brackets on the way and am sourcing an alternator. Do I need any new bolts to fit the new setup to my 172 or can they be taken from my old kit?

I fitted my Whiteline just before Blyton along with R888's so it's difficult to say which had the greater effect. It's certainly more planted. Setting up was a bit of a guess so I've set it around 10mm from the top of the drop link. I might go harder to induce a little more twitch

Thanks Scott. Is this likely to bring the service light on or just stay in the memory? I can't tell at the moment as the service light is on due to a dodgy ABS sensor.
