Just wondering if anyone knows the standard bore size on the 16v? As i have been offerd a powerflow system off a 1.2. And i cant measure mine as i ve got a magnex fitted(with a hole). Cheers Steve.

Umm what about if you were to get renault to fit them?

Just take a contianer to renault and ask to fill it up with the factory fitted elf 75w80, think it costs about 5-6 a litre.

Did you say anything to nick about it? Also what does it go like now;)? did u have it chiped as well?

The gauge might be playing up. Did it have an oil change?

Only looks like 125!! I am no expert but the power curve looks a little strange after 5500rpm. An ecu problem maybe??

Well i had an induction kit on before and its deff better both low down and top end. Once the exhaust is fixed i should no for sure.

The rocker cover breather is the "oil and the head". I have removed the standard pipe and have just fited a breather filter directly to the case.

Its going on the rollers on the 15th with the RSC at EP. Its got the viper, pbv, decat and magnex exhaust. Its slightly down on compresion though and i need to get the downpipe replaced as its leaking. Also probably need to have a new centre section made up as i have managed to scrap a hole in...

I take it you mean hose? if so then no its just a 70mm 90 degree bend which you can buy from loads of places. Made the adaportor plate myself though!:D

Well at the moment its behind the grill but yes the radiator is right next to it which doesnt help. I am gone put some heat sheild between it and the viper and run a cold air feed from the fog to the viper. But as is its alot better than an open induction kit but still makes a nice rumble:D.

Jimbo how hard was it to install the cams? did you no them with the head off?

If someone can host it I have a pic of mine with a viper. I ve also got a pbv to help match the fueling.

Well i find that mine is quite on and off, a pain in town, but on the 1/4 mile or giving it some stick on open raod its quality you can just abuse it!;)

Jimbo what is involved in reconditioning the tappets? really want to fit a set of cams.

Be cheaper to speak to bondy about cams then get a hillpower chip. Probably looking at around 250-300 max.

Not sure i guess demon tweaks, halfords? the cleaning kit should include the cleaning agent and the oil, pluss instructions anyway.

What is it green or pipercross? Basically you buy a cleaning (for the right make of filter) kit. Remove any lose dirt ect with an old paint brush etc. Spray the cleaning agent on the outside of the filter, leave for 10mins then wash it with water from inside the filter, so it drives the dirt...
