Just to be safe i ordered some of those bulbs but also poped down halfords and got some orange ones till the others arrive.
The light is on a lot more straight now since i changed the bulb as well :)
On my original lights there is an orange sheet of plastic which gives the orange effect. Its only after i fitted these i realised this and thought bugger.
They came today so got on to fitting them straight away. I think they look a lot better than the original ones.

I suppose i can cope with having to unlock it by hand, its just a pain if theres other people waiting to get in.
Ill be getting an alarm soon so will get the central locking wired in to the alarm remote.
Before (as in when it WAS working) i had to stand with the key virtually against the window aiming it at the little sensor bit and it would still not unlock first time sometimes.
It is not all that good anyway when it was working

Once those big screws are removed...bobs your uncle

Hello.
I read the removing your dash guide and it seems simple. But i want to fit some components and the door speakers are fine its the tweeters i am concerned about.
How easy is it to fit tweeters?
I mean the clio i have is a Grande RN (98 new shape) and there are holes for them covered...
I was looking at this, only i was going to go for the Clifford MAtrix RS2 ( i think it is)
Either that or the clifford matrix 3 then add the remote start
But my problem is fitting it. who or which compnays can be trusted to fit them without doing a sh*te job of it?
Ive also just started getting this on my car, and its only just been within the past few weeks.
Funny thing is 2 of my other mates with clios have the same thing happening and one of my mates with a saxo has started getting shocks as well
funny how it just started happening....
Hey i was wondering if anyone could help.
Ive got a Renault Clio 98 Grande 1.2 RN and i am "trying" :) to wire up the amp. I just wondered if or how anyone else got the power cable from the battery to the boot.
Is there somewhere i can feed it through as ive looked but have had no luck...
Im glad im not the only person with this problem. My clio is the same. sometimes i have to have the key on the window and press the button before the thing will open yet other times i can get a good range on it 1 or 2 meters :o
although i did mange to get it to unlock from about 4 meteres away...
Hey people just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the on-board controller on a Clio Grande 98 model?
I think i need to remove the whole dash unit to remove it? not sure on it though so i thought id ask.
