yeah its my everyday car. It had a rebuild,froup A parts (carb and head set) were used during that. Rebuild was done before it went inot the clio

Never done a gaslet on mine, got a Group a on there and once ran 21 psi. Now have nos to and run a reilable 15 psi @ manifold. Only thing that has let me down is the thermastat temp switch broke and the fan didnt kick in once so had to hard wire it. But @ £13 its hardly a break the back part...

But more than a super chip can do. IMHO if i were to get a car chipped again i think i would go for one that could be altered accordingly.

i get 130 @ 6k in my 1.4. in 5th. It wonmt go over that unless i hit a decline on the road lol

But i have heard that Uni chips are much better as superchips are not remappable for each mod etc.

I had a super chip on my nova GTE untill i changed it to twin 40s. I thought it made a great difference, rec limiter up by 5-600 RPM and mch smoother and better delivery

my sisters just finished doin law at uni, ill ask what she reckons. I think it wouold be worth following it up. At least go there and explain what happened then see how it goes from there. They might be good about it and ask to look at your car, or you could get an independant inspection done.

When i was takin my brake disks off, one of the small bolts snapped, done the same on each side. How am i gonna get these out, the disks are only now held in with one bolt and the caliper, dont really like the thought of this! lol

It might have been easier to prove they were to blame if the car was left how it was. Have you stripped it allready? If you go to them and say "you did a bodge job on my car and now ive crashed it" they might not wanna know. Really sorry to hear about your loss though, i wrote my uno turbo off...

My mate has a 6 sp manual twin turbo improt and that thing is just stupid!! Ive not seen anything keep up with it.

nearly shat my self once with a similar experience, FRST oulled out toovertake car in front of him, i pulled out to follow and his car wasnt as quick as i thought it was gonna be lol

There were some huge spped ramps in a place near me, an ambulance and a bus got grounded on them, the patient in the ambulance did die (dont know if he would have lived if he got to hospital) the speed ramps have been lowered now by about half the amount and there still to feckin big.
