I wash my car with a pressure washer, sponge and then chamois cloth. If I can just get the swirls out I'd be happy. I usually apply the black hole with a pad and buff out with a microfiber cloth. Should I really work the product in hard or not?
Also have some super resin from years ago but not...
Claying etc just seems like another process that'll add a lot of time. Problem is my car looks filthy within one commute to work so putting loads of hours into detailing seems pointless for me. I was hoping for a quick fix (runs and hides from detailing gurus)
In the past I've purchased poorboys blackhole and natttys wax however I'm still getting poor results. I'm not a big fan of cleaning cars but recently the swirls and dull paintwork is depressing me! What's the best process for applying these products quickly and with ease?
Also happy to...
Sorry if it's been posted but seems like it could go cheap, 14 hrs left on £50 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-SPORT-172-SPOILER-GENUINE-RENAULT-PART-/110874431351?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19d0a18f77
Looking at the Bedford layout it's a big track with plenty of corners so could eat tyres especially as it's my first proper track day. I'm hoping to take a friend along who's got plenty of experience for a bit of help tho. I might keep an eye out for some cheap 15" wheels in the mean time, thanks :)
Sorry to jump on the thread......Are you likely to use a set of road tyres in one track day? I'm planning on booking Bedford soon either AM or PM slot and was hoping I wouldn't need spare wheels.
Also do you get much tyre wear on the rears?
I've never had fast road/track pads fitted but after some horrific brake fade at the ring on the standards they're being binned! I'm going to be a sheep and start with the DS2500 and try out a few until I find the ones I like the most.
Taken from an old 106Owners thread so might have changed:

Not busy at all, just the same bunch of cars out all day pretty much. Also didn't come across and incidents I was impressed with the quality of drivers on the track.
Thanks, I'm lookin at heading out again in June :)
Last weekend I went on a bit of a euro roadtrip to Belgium and Germany along with my friend in his Civic. First stop was Houffalize, Belgium to watch my friend race in the first 4X race of the season. He qualified 18th and ended up finishing 15th overall so a good to start the weekend :)

My other half has been running an 03 1.2 16V for a few years now. It started life on 30k and it's now on 90, it suffers from the gunk under oil cap however runs fine and has done for 20k.
Biggest issues we had was throttle body failed, bit of a ball ache to get at inside the inlet manifold. Oh...
I think it's got a nice exhaust note with the decat fitted. Don't buy one if your expecting a full on loud exhaust tho, it's a nice everyday exhaust imo.
Well your going to need a CAT for an MOT at some point so could it be wise to ditch the decat?
I removed the decat from my RS192 system and it made a big difference, no experience of centre silencers though I'm afraid.
I had this problem last year and today the dreaded alarm is back again! When the car is parked in direct sunlight the alarm goes off and then can't be re-armed again without a continous beep.
Today I disconnected the bonnet sensor and it's made no difference, what's the next step? Can I...
Elf SXR is about £26 for 5 litres or you can opt for the same rebranded version Total 9000 for a little less. I can do two oil changes for the price of one Pro Race S....Don't get me wrong it's a good oil however it's a bit pricey for me!
