Got to get at least one wheel in the air ;)
My new personal favourite picture, love the reflections and the little bit of tyre smoke from the front left.
The car was genuinely faultless all day, absolutely brilliant fun to chuck about. Was a bit of a shame about the weather, my quickest lap...
Chuffed to say that after giving it a thorough workout at Bedford today the car was absolutely faultless.
Shame it's nearly October really, trackday season is damn near finished. Got some decent video and some really good photos so I'll get some posted up.
There have been a lot of extensive studies done on mobile phone radiation which have found no issue at all.
Electrosensitivity is horrible for people who have it, but all the evidence shows it's psychological.
I'll stick with my SE I think, the seven is nice and all, but honestly phones are just about incremental improvements these days. Unless there's a massive leap forward in battery tech there's a limit to what they can do and still keep a day worth of battery life.
Until my phone starts to show...
Sounds like whoever you were speaking to was an idiot and mixed up options with modifications.
Try Greenlight too if you haven't already, incredibly cheap for modified stuff in my experience.
That's funny, because I think that's what makes it possible to enjoy on the road :) Much less insulating that most other cars, it's raw and involving. That said, I wouldn't fancy running one as a daily driver, so from that point of view I guess it is pretty crap as a road car.
Can't quite believe I'm explaining this but the wheel is the metal bit that sits inside the rubber bit, which is the tyre. Changing the tyre does not mean the wheel gets changed.
If you've a badly damaged wheel as the MoT says you have then that's a safety hazard because it could crack...
Yeah people are up in arms about it, but from what I've read the game is perfectly balanced and you don't need to spend a penny on in-game purchases. Non-issue.
Still, f-ing management teams, shoehorning micro-transactions into everything "because".
Picked the car up today and there were a couple of issues. There was a crack in the pipe that feeds the turbo water cooling jacket so that bit of pipe needed replacing - sadly only available as a complete unit with the connecting block and heat shield at over £100 😧
Also the cooling...
Heh, yeah, I know! Dodged a couple of big bullets over the last few months. I'll get the full details from the mechanic when I pick the car up on Friday, but essentially it was a minor leak in the cooling system which was hidden by the weak expansion tank pressure cap.
Once I replaced the cap...
Nothing wrong with your sustained connection speeds then. Very odd, Have you tried the OFCOM app?
Do you have access to a PC or laptop with wireless? There's a really useful tool called inSSIDder which will show you a map of all the wifi networks in your area and you can see if yours is...
I'm confused, in your first post you said it's not really working in the bedroom? Do you mean the wifi connection is dropping out?
You could try the checker app from OFCOM, it's a bit limited but does check the wifi for issues.

Loved the last one, played it to death. Really looking forward to this one, although obviously it does ignore some of that paths which could have been taken at the end of the last game......

Problem is I don't have that...
Sounds like your wifi then, what happens if you run a speedtest from your iPad or phone when it's in the bedroom? If that's slower than when you run the same test from the same device in the lounge then it's your wifi not the broadband.
I loved my whiteline, made the car feel much pointier and hugely reduced understeer in slower corners. Was worth every penny. Stiffened the rear end up a treat:
I'm sure a set of coilovers properly set up will give more benefit but as a cheap and easy mod to improve the handling I thought it...
Looks like it might not be the HG - there's a hole in one of the coolant pipes which is letting it suck air in. Once that's been sorted hopefully all will be well. Fingers crossed :)
Been a while since I updated, in the last month I've done another trackday at Combe which was really good, but sadly it seems to have broken the car. I had the expansion tank cap fail and blow water everywhere which was annoying, easily sorted with a new cap, but unfortunately it seems that...
Jesus Christ, that's ten minutes of my life I'm not getting back. Wonder what he'd do if he ever saw some genuinely bad driving rather than just everyday muppetry.
I've got an SE, prefer it to the 6S which I also have (for work).
It's just personal preference at the end of the day, but the guts of a 6S in a smaller package with better battery life is pretty much the perfect device for me.
Can be unreliable (bad weather affects the signal) and very expensive.
Data limits tend to be very low on all but the most expensive packages.
Have you seen there are government subsidies available for certain locations which can't get above 2Mb?
