Its not loud loud but it is obvious and easily noticeable from inside or outside the car. Will try old plugs and see. If it goes what does that mean? Why would the new plugs make this noise?

Dont tell me that I wanted 15W 50 but garage couldnt get any, I was told by multiple sources that 10W40 would be ok

10W40, been runnin fine on it until I just changed the RCG

not been out in it just left it running in the garage, idle and revving it seems ok but will take it round the block in the morning

quite quick and gets quicker when you accelerate they are ngk uprated spark plugs from k-tec

But it wasnt doing it before :confused: Just had an oil change a couple of weeks ago, level is still good.

Just changed the rocker cover gasket and spark plugs on the 16v and now its making kind of a ticking noise which gets faster as you accelerate. I accidently left the two breather pipes off the front first and when I started the engine I could hear what sounded like air being sucked in but it...

As said, only when engine is running and drivers side only on the drivers controls. Not sure on the passenger window with the passengers controls.

I have put this together. Has anybody got anything to add or think should be changed? We need to get this finalised in the next couple of days. Input please. What do you mean early and is it just once then ok or when its doing it does it keep doing it? Leo had a prob where the car felt like it was hitting a limiter. It was doing it at like 4k or something everytime then it was up to 5k then 6k then started doing it a 4k again. Rev needle was bouncing...
