Nick,
Like Ben says the forged parts are HIGHLY expensive, the Williams pistons are £150+VAT each and the rods are £155+VAT each, only really worth it if you want a super high reving motor.
My plan was to build an ultimate F7R engine, forged internals, fully worked crank, race cams, fully...
Just wanted to say thanks to whe ever organised the 20% discount on Leda stuff.
We can all now get all round Leda suspension for about £510!!!! Forget the rest and buy the best!

Nick,
Go for a rebuild with forged internals, you can get the pitons from Omega and the Conrods form Arrows. Then get a 1.9 diesel crank, balanced, knife edged and tuftrided, ARP bolts, solid lifters, 45mm TBs, wild cams, lightened flywheel and a fully worked big valve head. Should see 200+bhp...

You can arm the system whenever you like!! It wont fire till youve got your foot on the floor, the system is fired by either a microswitch on the TB or in my case a TPS trigger unit, which is much much neeter and easyer to fit/remove.
You can use it at ANY rpm in ANY gear so long as you...
You can get 45mm TBs from Jenvey for about 400 quid, then youd need a monifold, mappable ECU and setting up on rollers. Over a grand minimum Id say, if you wanna couple it with headwork and a 2.0l conversion then obviosly more. But I think NA is the way to go :D Should be starting on my project...

Technically you need to lower the limit as the diesel crank is not as strong, but you might be able to get away with it. If you fitted forged pistion, conrods, had the crank titanium nitride coated and used ARP bolts you could raise it, this is what I wanna do, how high you could go I dont know...
If you just leave it hanging then there is no suction to draw the vapour out, leaving it hang means if air is being drawn in then crap can get sucked in too, if you put a filter on it you risj is getting clogged with oil and then the block cant breath correctly which is bad news.
Well one of...
Is it true the Vauxhall Calibra was once the most aerodynamic (lowest drag) production car avaliable? I dont believe it but does any one else know different?
