jase, whats the dimensions of the sticker and we can measure it up against the place on the 1*2 front bumper see if it fits.
if it does i may try one on mine.
i was still using the 15's during the cold spell and ice, this sudden lack of front end bite is in both wet and dry conditions only since the 16s went on. just feels very light front end and floaty.
i was just surprised that a narrower but brand new cheap parada is showing more grip/feel and...
last few months on my 182 i have been using my track 15s with barnd new parada spec 2 in a 195/55/15 profile swapped back to my 16 inch alloys which have PE2's on them about 4mm tread and found the drive worse.
ignoring any tramlining it doesnt settle into a fast sweeping corner as well and a...
without looking at your engine mate there should be 4 leads in total.
these go from the ignition coil to the spark plugs, all 4 of them will start at the same place and will then run towards centre of your engine and will then split up and one will push onto the top of each spark plug at the...
only really got a side on look mate but i dont think it had stripes on, was an 04 plate.
we shared a nod
second RS related nod this weekend overtook a megane f1 230 in liquid yellow on the m60 saturday morning, he pulled back alongside and gave thumbs up.
you get a generic book of fault codes and a description its not really of any use as a diagnostic tool its not specific and doesnt really id a specific fault.
its only of any real use to reset your light for decat owners.
with the engine running unplug a ht lead one at a time and see if it makes any diff to the running.
basically have it idling and unplug the first one, if it cuts out replace it and that one is not at fault. start car again unplug next one if it cuts out put it back in and thats not at fault...
sounds to me more like its only running on 3 cylinders, a dodgy lambda wont make it sound like that mate. it will lead to poor running and low mpg as without the reading the ecu will overfuel for safety reasons.
new set of ht leads are quite cheap you shouldnt need new plugs yet but they are...
nice to see people trying some different things though.
if it was mine i would actually go back to std bonnet and std rear lights.
i do like the stance, wheels and the smoothed front renault front logo is a new one to me. i would get hold of a small front splitter.
im not from there but have worked up there last 5 years or so, know it quite well.
i spend a bit of time around the charlestown road neck of the woods.
just seen someone after buying a btb in the wanted section, not many about.
im running decat as well.
good in very wet conditions, bit iffy in the damp and on dry tracks if the tyre pressure is to low you can kill the tyre walls.
decent tyres for the price though.
i used them on my old 106gti, they were loud and rotted about 2 years which i didnt mind for the cost.
fit was a bit hit and mis needed some of the hangers modding to get a good fit.
going back to john182rs question about 1*2 and mpg best way is change gear early but there is a balance between revs and speed, i would guess upto 3 - 3.5k for normal driving with the 2.0 litre just be gentle with the throttle and keep it 65-70 ish on the motorway.
in reality to save on mpg...
some great results there, the r5 owned by jamesf must be quite a handfull on the road very impressive.
even the 182's did well, were they modded in any way?
yeah i used to know your brother mate, is he still into the audio scene?
if you could e-mail me any pics would be much appreciated.

yeah good fun, not doing any more for a while will start again in the summer.
i may still be in the 182 or may have something else by then a bit cheaper for track bit nerve racking using my daily driver on these track outings.
yeah she did, she enjoyed it and even managed a quick nap between outings, only at one point while i was having a bit of a duel with a 172 cup did she get a bit nervous. the guy was blue flagged but wouldnt yield and to be honest we were evenly matched.
i would have expected his cup and no...
hi sean, yeah although scraping the ice off the car on way to a track day isnt the best sign of things to come but there was plenty of grip (except at druids)
jonnyg - cheers i was chatting to a few of the rally lads (the white s2 with white wheels) and was stood with dan while he was saying...
hi herdie
i bought my pics but got them on the same disc as the mate i was with (the silver 106gti) so he has them. just waiting for him to do me a copy we got them for a few quid off as on same disc.
i love oulton park the brakes take some abuse though, thankfully mine are all uprated but...
black 182 northbound on the m6 approaching thelwall viaduct, from the very quick look i saw a renault diamond grafic on the passenger side rear, was yesterday 28th nov about 16:30ish
