I hear crackles from mine when Im getting out of the car. I then have to put my missuss car on the drive behind mine. As Im doing all this, the car is still playing table tennis with itself !!! So this is normal, to do with exhaust???

Nope the driver is one touch but the passenger is not on mine. Bit of a pain in the morning when I want to clear windows as I have to back off drive. Anybody know if passenger setting can be changed? Thanks

Yes it does sound like air escaping Darren but as soon as I move off, regardless of revs etc. Be interesring to see what it does in the morning, if anything !!

Yep, Daz, less than a mile pr:confused:obably Just had a look now, this plastic liner uder the bumper.......its just round the fog light area, correct? symmetrical on both sides??? If so, seems to be in place, its not uder the number plate.grill, just a piece at either end.

Did anybody else realise the 172 now comes with an on-board coffee perculator. Well at least thats what mine sounded like as I left work tonight, a very loud one too !! No noise when stationary just when on the move so I got out to check there was nothing stuck underneath the whhel arch...

Why do you need a physical copy of the cover note, I picked mine up on the same day my car arrived, just phoned up my insurance and gave them the details.

Funny enough my mate at work was showing me his new car today, a Triumph TR6 and he is in his forties. I am 32 and had a 172 for 2weeks, all bought and paid for. The bumfluff at the lights is probaly paying stacks of insurance and a massive loan to repay for the car itself. Tou only live...

yes worked out the pressing quickly to go up/down all the way, onlky for the drivers window though. Couldnt get the passenger to do it................:confused:

any idea if you can change the window settings so that one touch opens or closes them and you dont have to keep your finger pressed down??

I prefer the wheels and the discrete exhaust on the 172.

As in the alarm was sensing the interior light was on when you could quite clearly see it wasnt you mean mate??

After the false alarm early yesterday evening I had no further problems. UNlocked it this morning......no beeps. Locked it when I got into work............no buzzer Corrected itself maybe??? Ill stil get it checked out.
