Just reading my book now and it says about the 60 seconds it takes to protect the car once the key is pressed. Funny enough I get the continuous buzzer sounding for about 60 seconds, then...
Looks like Im gonna be working late so may not get to the garage tonight !!
If all the buzzer is trying to tell me is one of the doors etc is not closed correctly and I know that it is then hopefully the alarm still arms and I can get some sleep tonight.
I can then take it in to sort out...
The LED was flashing by the gear stick when I left the car so I assume it is fully armed??
Ill try and get to a dealer tonight on my way home from work.

Just been out to check it again, made sure the doors, boot and bonnet were closed correctly.
Same thing happened..............car locks then continuous buzzer for 60 seconds then everything seems normal, how do I know if the alarm is actually armed though?
Do you normally have to book cars...
As I bought my car from a broker, I need to choose between Lookers in Chester and Speed Six in Wrexham to get my problems sorted out under the warranty.
Just wondering if anybody has used either and any opinions on them would be helpful.

Says in the book you can set the clock but Ive followed the instructions but to no avail !!

Used mine for the first time this morning to sort out misted windows, just clicked the buttons (for front and back windscreens) and hey presto, clear windows all round.
Good point about the discrete exhaust on the current 172 Phili. One of the things that made me buy a 172 was it is very discrete and hard to tell apart from dynas except for those in the know, like all the guys on here.

I just want to wash my car, although they do list demon tweeks as a stockist and I only live 10 mins from there.
now 6 weeks is half my wait, my girlfriend took me to pick my motor up Monday and said to me later that I couldnt wipe the smile off my face the moment I arrived and saw it parked up, cracking feeling.

My car needs a bloody good clean to be honest, wasnt sparkiling when I picked it up but I made a good saving against the dealer so not a problem.
