You are not alone, my sis has just sent her 182 back again...all the electrics have failed for the second time..its already had a new dash instrument panel, which set her mileage back to zero...
LOL!!
My ex did this when he bought his new MG, he kicked up a fuss when delivery was delayed, so much that they sent a single car carrier to collect it from the factory, my ex gave em a crate of booze as a thank you and the service from them has been spot on ever since...
so youd better...
I let my brother have a blast in mine, it was warmed up nicely and so I told him to just rev it so he did and his response was "Sh*T!" he then gave me a lecture on safe driving....over protective big brothers!! lol! :p
Nope, just me not explaining it right!! I meant the internal display on the dash showing the temp outside!!
Mine was showing 37 last winter so the car was cold inside. After having the sensor replaced the heater worked fine
In the time that Ive had my mk2 172 my sis has had a mk1 172, a 172 Cup and now she has a 182 with cup pack, so Ive driven them all quite a bit.
Rather than saying which is best (they all have good points!) If I was looking to change my car then I would go for the newest, low miles, best value...
I agree with most posts on here...why buy a new car if are only going to keep it for a few months...actually carry on!! That’s how I got my 7month old mint condition 172 at a bargain price.. lovely!!!
I still have the Renault exhaust in my garage "just in case" but to be honest if youre selling your car then a Magnex is a selling point and cheaper to replace if you were wanting to keep it for another car.
Get the brakes done elsewhere, I bought pads from K-Tec and the local garage charged me £30 to fit (back and front) It cost me about £80 to do what Renault quoted £170
I have some K-tec Kevlar pads, the ba*tards still squeal when cold or wet (well I suppose it’s better than squealing all the time like they did when new) they are good but not better than standard pads.
Next time Ill go back to standard Renault pads, they do the job perfectly.
Well at least if you have an id colour, youll have a very rare car.....
Apart from the yellow, these colours are dull, dull, dull!! But then again I havent seen one in real life.....
Who the feck does she think she is???
I’d report it to the police, get your self a couple of witnesses and inform your insurance and let them sort it…..she can not be allowed to get away with this on principle!!:@
A bloke backed into my XR2i, there was no visible damage but he had the...
