fantastic day as always and the best races of the series.
will get my vids posted up as soon as i can work out how the hell you can put the front and back cameras on the same screen.(i hate computers)lol.
great to see everyone again and meet some new faces and some new racers for next year.
the test is easy really. just swat up on your flags and study the video that comes with your pack.
then the practical test is just to make sure you are not a liability on the track. stick to the lines and apexes and dont spin it.
welcome aboard to tarc, the more the merrier.
which class you looking at doing?
i am running in class e production which is pretty cheap. if you need a hand with anything or want to come and look at mine just give me a shout, i only live in middlewich.
cheers rob
cheers tony, yep chuffed to bits such a good bunch of people.
i hope its not damaged as its brand new.(doh)
next vids will have rearview as have just got another cam.I got it put on the 4 wheel tracker at protyre in winsford. i told them what to set the front at then i used the info on the rear...
So it was the turn of cadwell park to get a hammering from the tricolore trophy.
weather was dry, bright and warm and i was feeling more nervous than every.
started off easy getting the tyres up to temps and remembering the circuit then really started to push.
the car was feeling great and soon...
A damper refresh is worth it and as you have said new engine mounts.
Also worth looking at camber bolts on the front and camber, toe shims for the rear.
But as said go out and have fun and learn the car.then you can work out what needs doing to meet your driving style.
Well had my second race meeting this weekend at thruxton.
As i have never been there before i was a bit nervous to say the least and with doing some mods to the car setup i was also unsure if i had made it better or ruined it.
The day started of damp but was due to improve as the day went...
with thruxton this weekend and it being a high speed circuit i was wondering if it is worth putting the decat in.the car is standard in the production class so will it really make any difference?
yes production class, 10mm per side. it is just something i was toying with as adding camber and toe to the rear has widend the rear so i thought i would try to even it up by adding some to the front.
hi i have a question about fitting 10mm spacers to the front of my 182 race car.
when the spacers are on and you put the wheel on it is clear of the center spigot. is this ok as the wheel bolts will hold it in position or is it a big no no.
any advice would be helpfull.
cheers rob
