this is what i have done in the past and its worked. other option is to take it to a garage. id drive a car a few miles with only 3 wheel bolts on a wheel to get it fixed
So the RS Tuner is currently locked to the Megane so i will need an unlock code for my car and the remap for my car. then another unlock code for the megane?

I know that the RS Tuners are locked to a certain car but have read about unlock codes that can be bought.
I have a friend that has a Megane so his RS Tuner will obviously be locked to that car.
Will it only have the maps on for the megane or...
would have thought you would have some kind of miss fire and possibly stalling if the tdc was faulty. Tbh id take it out clean the sensors and connections and see if that makes a difference. Could be coil pack, ht leads though. The tdc sensor should cost about 30 but if you do get one make sure...
from what i have read the ECU's are coded to each car so that would be a no go unless i got a virginised one and tried that but that would be the price of an ecu, unlocking it, virginising it, etc...
very nice mate, i used to have a ph1 225 Cup with the Lux pack. only things i would do is get some ph2 rear lighs and a remap from RS Tuning and thats it. I was in the process of this when i had to sell mine
yes the VVT kicks in at alot lower revs 1800 or 2500 iirc
the engine speed of 136% you suggested does actually make sense but i can continue to rev over 5k but its very very slow and abit jerky
the mechanic has suggested that a remap may cure this but thats £300+ i haven't got and don't really...

Its been on the dyno for live reading and had the following ruled out/replaced/tested...
Mines not working, the button presses in but i get no light on the dash and the back window doesn't clear when misted up. Checked the fuse and its fine. Any ideas before i start ripping things out?
Do you need to use the proper clip from Renault? on my old 225 you could only get them from Renault as others wouldn't fit. Now Renault been Renault decided that you couldn't get buy the clip separately you could only buy it in the kit. so a 50p fancy jubilee clip ended up costing me nearly £30
