Re: Cumbria Photoshoot Meet. 01-08-10
I'm with SOSCC, we done the Wilson, was "interesting" on the ice with on off on SS1, but finished it, just done the Scottish a few weeks ago, as far as I know we're doing the Pendragon, gutted Greystoke was cancelled, we do just about all the local ones...

I won't be driving like a hero, much, either tbh....keep that for the rallying me thinks!
So are we any closer to settling on a location/route yet?
Re: Cumbria Photoshoot Meet. 01-08-10
I think i'll be needing more power to keep up if it's anything like the last time I spotted you out on a meet, and from what Russ was telling me today about the one you cracked your sump on lol!!
Re: Cumbria Photoshoot Meet. 01-08-10
Yeah the waterfall part was for "the other half" but mine got binned a while back, so I can drive straight on by there LOL!!
Wasn't sure what Middleton was like for food, and yeah, Brough was mentioned just as we pass through on the way back from Selset...

Kielder has some great spots too, good call. Kielder then to Jed/A68, a few good spots along there too, and yet again, awesome driving roads, then from the A68 back through to Lockerbie is a great road.
Re: Cumbria Photoshoot Meet. 01-08-10
What about over Honister Pass? I'm sure there's a few spots to get some pics the other side of it, and it's also an awesome road to drive too....
Could head up to Surprise View aswell on the way, car park up there might be good to get some pics, but also...
Re: Cumbria Photoshoot Meet. 01-08-10
I *should* be able to make it along to this, although i'm down in Derby the day before, but it should be right :)
Bit of an update over the past week...
As much as I liked the F1's, I wasn't overly happy with the over all look of them on the car, so time for a change!
This time, it works, and it works well. Yes, I maybe a sheep and following the masses, maybe it has been done to death, but there is a...
As per the title, as much as I liked the F1's, I wasn't overly happy with the overall look of them on the car due to being all silver, so time for a change!

There's one on my 172, was on it when I bought it.
Meant to be "stealth" by design - It isn't
Meant to be stainless - It's rusting
Meant to be made to fit my car - Since lowering the car, it sits on the rear beam
Meant to be welded - It looks like pigeon s**t
Meant to be a replacement -...
A hammer knocks the old bushes out no problem, and a vice presses them in, just make sure they're square. As has already been said, tack weld the outer sleeves to the wishbone also.
It isn't much hassle, but I totally think it's worth it :approve:
