we have got the Lifestyle 48 system here, (surround + media centre thingy) and tbh it is really not worth the money!!! it cant play anything new (bluray or wateva) and the speakers arnt great. The only bose thing i would recomend is the ipod dock like ppl said, but the B&O looks and sounds miles...

lol umm the head unit was about £450 if i can remeber, and the tv tuner + ipod lead came to about £300 with the ariels. Got it from Sextons in Southampton, they fitted it aswell. They did a real good job :) Duno about the tv license? i havent got 1 lol so i assume its classed as a portable tv...

ye, its realy easy to do. i think its just remove the door handle (1screw i think) and 1 screw for the bit with the electric window switch. Theres a few along the bottom, and then you have to remove the speaker. the cover just pops off, then unscrew. Im sure you gota take another plastic bit off...

so, i would get a much stronger signal if they were fitted to the clear section? ahh always wondered why there was a small section at the bottom. cheers

Hey Just had a alpine head unit fitted, and had the tv tuner added. The aerials for it tho are at the top of the windscreen. Was just wondering if the purple film stuff on the windscreen blocks the signal as its is poor when they are stuck to it, but when you hold them next to all the other...
