Maybe most of my tyres have been rubbish but ive found my Toyos fine in the wet. They came out as the best wet tyre in the Evo test I think.
In the damp they are rubbish.
In the dry I dont think they are a patch on my old A539s but they were pathetic in the wet.
Ive had
Mich Pilots -...
never turn the PC off - its easier that way:p
Im no expert on powerchips for Renaults - the likes of hillpower, superchips & Unichips are more recognised as far as I know.
Although there was a small debate about hillpower chips after a Rolling Road session on renaultsports forums. I cannot...
All the cars ive owned have done this. Seems more noisey on the 16v cars tho - maybe thats just me.
Just assumed it was lack of oil around the engine - once is warms a bit it starts lubricating again properly? Just a guess.
About 15% very very roughly off Fly to get ATW.
I got mine done at STAR and they seem to come up with the most bizzare figures ATW for everyone. Very similar to those posted origionally.
I find my Toyos the best tyres ive had in the wet so far.
Im sure the Evo test put them second behind the F1s in the wet tests but i dont have that Evo anymore.

Or do a search - there may be some stuff in the archives but they have been deleting stuff.
Yours has only done 84k - there was someone on here with a Valver that had a higher milage and was putting in impressive figures.
Then again finding a reliable rolling road is impossible anyway.
When driving with my lights on at night the brightness off them is pathetic.
On full beam its not bad - on normal its like having candles for bulbs.
There are some clear headlamp protecters on which may make things better if I take them off but not that much surley?
Also the light doesnt...
yeah - but its only been RRd once so I cant compare against any other RRs.
If I could get myself to a Scottish RR day to compare against other Clios etc.
To be honest the car should have around that BHP judging by its speed in comparason to other cars and my last car.
I still want...
Its depends on where you live and you stats who is cheapest for you. HIC didnt beat Tesco for me - in fact no-one has in the last 4 years. Tesco seems to like the Highlands.
The temptation to mod my FRST is why I now have a Williams (along with the lack of PAS)
Although the modding bug doesnt go away - A chip, filter, de-cat is required;)lack of money has stopped me so far!
More likely if it has leather it was done afterwards.
Mine has beed reliable but when I need something done it has cost a fair bit. The alarm went faulty also my starter motor since ive owned it (Feb 03). Ive done around 5,000 miles in it.
Renault wanted to charge me £40 to fit a fog...
The Matrix in my old ZX died one day when the Girlfriend was driving. Steam & smoke everywhere - to make matters worse the electrics died and she couldnt get the window open. Thankfully she was only 50 yards from my work - I did laugh when appeared from a car full of fog - you couldnt see her...
