    Clio 220 Trophy

The biggest problem is it's legacy. If it was a Kia Cee'd it would have rave reviews. The Trophy is a decent improvement over the 200t, but as detailed in Gally's post, It lacks charisma.

Hate when someone asks what car do you have?

'Fast Golf and fast Clio' If they know enough to ask details I'll then go into it.

I used SV Shield for the first time in about a year last week. Ahhh I forgot how nice it is to use a wax that applies and removes well! It really isn't as much of a chore as I tell myself it will be.

The only experience I've had of disintegrating pads is with the solid flat type of pad. Hexlogic, Lake Country, and 3M have always stayed in tact.

Mine was also an 'old' dilution when I had the problem. (Not freshly mixed just before use)

I've had this. How old is the hydro2 dilution? What did you have underneath it in terms of protection? Whole car or panel by panel? Mine came off with a firm wipe down with Wolfs nano QD iirc!

~190bhp with 197 cams. Mine isn't an especially strong engine though IMO. Have a search, there's plenty of threads out there

It's most of the benefits of ITBs with none of the drawbacks. For a road going car with cruise control its a good option. If you want all-out power and do mostly track days the. ITBs are the better, more expensive option.

TRACK TROPHY 381 – PROGRESS TO DATE

Yes, my fronts were coming direct from eibach, and we're out for delivery yesterday (but never came). I fitted some FK springs in the end. The best part was when he gave me a fake tracking number :)

Sounds like you've had a similarly frustrating month with Curtis to me. 4 weeks to get a set of springs. In the end I got the rear pair and cancelled the fronts. Funny, as they've been 'out for delivery' about 5 times. Polite liar.

Valetpro combo 2 is pretty strong. If you want cleaning power though just add some pre wash or APC to the mixture.

Not from me, but generally the shorter the pile the better IME. The cheap Gtechniq grey ones are alright. Also, GTech G6 perfect glass is excellent! My new favourite product of its kind. Whilst I'm on glass, I used Angelwax H2O Go t'other day. Application was a doddle, haven't had it out in...

Based on this: With 600mm from bar to collar bone, the harnesses should cross over with a 50mm spacer between them? Thought I better ask because most Clios I've seen tend to run them in parallel. @NorthloopCup

Quick headlight refurb this morning. Not 100% perfect but good enough for now. - 2500 grit by hand, lots of water until the grit was very degraded - 4000 grit sanding disc with lime prime plus - Menzerna PG1000 worked until fully diminished (lots of water top ups) on a green 3M pad and...
