Which exhaust, Yozza or K Tec

My 172 exhaust is hanging on now by a bees dick and I am looking to replace it with a stealth stainless cat back system. I am not keen on big tailpipe/s on display or chavvy/boy racer noisy systems, just something for everyday use. I cant decide on whether to go for the K Tec or Yozza as...

    172 Exhaust Backbox prices????

The clamp supplied by Renault is crap and you may have to stick a weld on to secure it or it will fall off. £138 supplied and fitted sounds ok.

For those with Ipod Dock/Speakers - Bose or JBL

I was in this position last year and spent weeks listening to docks but went for the Jamo i300 which blew the rest within the pricerange away. I only paid £102 for it too as it has a tiny scratch on the back of it.

    problem with brakes

If the wheel bearing was worn to the point that the piston within the caliper was pushed back then the vehicle would drive as though it was on three wheels and pedal vibration would be the least of your worries.

Thats why the thermostat opens and closes.

    problem with brakes

This sounds like warped discs and should be replaced along with the pads, unless the ABS is triggering whereby you will feel the pedal pulsing and a warning light illuminating on the dash. This could also be caused by excessive play within the front suspension bushes/joints.

    182 Not reaching full temp

The coolant temerature will not be affected by ambient temperature in any way, it may just take a little longer to reach it. It sounds like the thermostat, however the fact that the gauge rises when reversing uphill suggests that it may be an electrical issue.

    HELP!

Firstly the resistance on the clutch pedal is constant whether the car is running or not. I would investigate the"clunky" noises first as they sound most serious which tbh could be number of things in either the engine or transmission. I am afraid with the info given it will be impossible to...

    172 Exhaust

The original was one piece from the flange at the cat. You will need to cut and clamp a replacement back box on but tbh the clamp often loosens and a few tack welds sort it.

Which is the best drive, 182 or 172

TBH I have never driven the 182 but I have both the 172 and the 172 cup and there is f*ck all difference in performance or handling, its all down to comforts. Test drive them all and make your own mind up as there are weekly threads like this and its all down to personal choice.
