Have you had a look at the throttle body? If its just at pretty much idle, could be worth checking the edges of the butterfly arent gummed with residue from the oil return.
If there is, flush with petrol until its all cleared. A thread of cotton twine will let you clean out the residue right...
Any gumming around the edge of the butterfly in your throttle body? My old 1.6 had a similar issue with low idle at full closed as the oil vapour recirc sat next to the aperture. Not sure if the 1.2 is the same but easy enough to dismantle and check.

They're usually pretty helpful to be fair, they seem to head over to Dieppe on a weekly basis. These bushes seem to be moulded-teflon/delrin mix at a guess but don't hold me to that. (just don't forget to order x4 like I did by mistake initially...)

No both one way, but they're modular so you if you're feeling flush you can upgrade them to run external canisters to give 2 or 3 way with the sexy staubli dry breaks.
