What's the difference between 2s and 1s. Struggling to find out.
Has anyone enquirer with online, quantum or other race suspension people
So it is just a thicker shaft on 2s??? I've never had to say thicker shaft on a car forum lol
And the benefit of that is? Less flex?
Yes Ohlins are £850 per insert for my cup racer bilsteins so your looking at around £2500-3000 just for inserts alone then you need cases and springs so say £4500 to build a set with cup racer cases. Muchos £££'s.
Ian speedy on here has reiger 3 way adjustable s with external reservoirs and was around 3k for them
Plus vat for the Reigers.....closer to 4 than 3.
As Ash says, Sportline 1's are not inverted (sporlint 2's are). 1's absolutely perfect for road use and track days.
We are working on an AST Kit currently which is Non-coilover rear. Trying to get it more affordable for you guys. We will know within the next few days.
Josh
Aren't 1's one way adjustable and 2's 2 way?
Could you do ast 2 inserts for mk2 racer front cases or custom cases to allow ast 2's to fit to cup racer hubs? (Same cases fitted to yor mk3 but with clamping tabs for the hub) Curtis said it was possible to do cases but he was full of false promises I'm led to believe.
Ill be racing so not sure. Don't want to buy twice.
3 realise seasons suspension wise?
I mean... 3 reliable season? In terms of the coilovers. Stupid iPhone
Just going by previous story's, I would give him a chance as he was perfect the times I called.
Looking for options to upgrade to if I find the need for adjustable damping, everything has to be custom or swap out inserts etc and it gets expensive. Ohlins front inserts and AST rear coilover is what im leaning towards but I hope Bilstein can add in damping themselves something like the kit Yozza used to do, pss10 but they died with yozza who had the rights to produce I believe.
Only thing dynacup has on it, is snow.
