Who knows, but can't imagine them throwing the toys/getting overly defensive/slagging people off/giving it the teflon in the event of there being an issue.
AST seem to have at least some degree of professionalism and morality about them. :)
Lol, the way Matt made out i'd always got the impression he'd fabricated one or more of them up to the original WSR spec.
Impressive to be giving him a run for all that money nonetheless :)
Some money spent on that then, assume its one of the cars Mr Faulks will have prepped? Ker-chiiiing! :)
Seemed to be having a good dice, reckon you couldve seen him off if you'd not had the off?
Not sure if there's an option for the HEL, but stainless versus zinc plated for the Goodridge fittings would make sense if they'll be exposed to road salt.
Have you contacted the Australian AST importer? Surely they can just order in the relevant strut casings or even machine you a set up in Clio fitment for you?
He did suggest that - £1090 think it was. I lol'd.
Also lol'd when I heard the guy from the workshop in the background saying I'd need a new engine...
Can you pm me some details please Chip. :)
Just reading through some old threads, are the oem items colsibro? Anyone have part refs for the oem items as my local stealers reckon they're not on the database to buy separately?
Guessing youre not fancying the gen90 route with a software licence? Seems pricey but would give you the option to swap out from the marelli dash at a later date.
Cheers Kenny, ive not seen the one from the 172, be interesting to see how its different from the other two. The MS on the racer one is the biggest of the three ive sourced. From memoey ones 20.6 mm, ones 21.3mm and the Racer one is 22.3mm. Think Andrewclio said it was orig from a pug 406 v6.
Have you priced up getting the Aus AST importer on the mainland to get you a set sorted? Presumably they could order the components and rig you up a set to clio spec?

Would be worth every penny, surely? :)
Alternatively, how much of the current box would you end up using or would it be fully rebuilt with bespoke casings/gearset?
What's the thinking with the ABS servo Jay? Not seen the Cup servo. Is it slightly larger same as the one used on the Clio 2 Racer?
Nice build Dave, looking good :)

Seriously?

Good project Ricardo. Have you spoken with Hal (HRracing) on here?
