BenR - Is that right that youre trying to organise another track day with clio cup cars to drive, I would be soooo up for this. Missed the Renault day one as couldnt book the time off....when you planning on doing this???

apologies for being dumb, but can you explain again how to get the top pipe off. I twisted it, but it wont move around that much, and it would def not pull off, so how do I do it!!!! Wanna have cool noise too .....but dont wanna bugger me 172..

Ben R - have emailed the logos to the email address you have mentioned at top of page. Not sure how to get them to be displayed in the forum. These are only rough, quickly designed them this morning as moving house any minute now!!! can try to refine, or generate some more ideas over...

BenR - have you chosen your design yet? If not then I can design some at the weekend, being a motion graphics designer, may be able to come up with something nice, whens the deadline?????

My 172 is jan 2001 and have had no problems until recently, when front drivers window decided to wind up and out at a strange angle, and the alarm transponder malfunctioned...all under warranty though, so not much hassle, and all fixed promptly...so pretty good service Ithink

Ive been told that there are 250 of them in the import center at the moment so thats rubbish, theyre lying or havent got a clue. Toomeys one should be in soon, ones on order and may be here in next few weeks or around 1st of August

Saw that clip Nick, must admit the clio did look mean as fekk, almost wish I hadnt sold mine to get a 172!!! but not that much... Agree about F1 as well, predictable and boring. GT, Clio cup, Touring cars and club racing are very cool, and of course rally. Must admit watching on TV is just...

BenR - You mentioned the standard exhaust on the 172 being really good compared to after market ones. Do you know if I had a Magnex 6x4 oval backbox fitted whether this would REDUCE the cars power. I am not interested in performance gains, just the look and noise of the backbox...have heard that...

Your right girl racer, my Dad works for Renault and the official renaultsport matts cost £120, not sure what they look like, but they do of course have the renaultsport badge like the seats, think for the money Autostyle matts with alloy heel plates would look better
