11k still seems a bit steep. Miles are nice and low for its age, i would haver thought maybe nearer 10k, but then again this is from a dealer i presume...see if you can haggle him down, 10250 would be fair. You can use the excuse that you can buy a new one for only a couple of grand more..

Be cool if we could get together a list of all the best handling and performance mods for 172s mk1 and 2. Along with benefits, cost, places to buy and get fitted etc. would help us all who arent as technical as others.....just an idea

BenR - Is that right that youre trying to organise another track day with clio cup cars to drive, I would be soooo up for this. Missed the Renault day one as couldnt book the time off....when you planning on doing this???
